Fancy Frontier 47 Taiwan 2026: A Three-Day Celebration of Anime, Cosplay, VTubers and Japanese Pop Culture

Taiwan once again became a major meeting point for anime, manga, cosplay, gaming, doujin culture, and Japanese pop entertainment as Fancy Frontier 47 (FF47) took over Taipei Expo Park’s Expo Dome from August 21–23, 2026. The summer edition of Taiwan’s long-running doujin and anime convention delivered three days of creator booths, cosplay, stage performances, VTuber activities, Japanese guests, merchandise, and fan interactions.

From the photographs taken at the event, FF47 was clearly more than a conventional doujin convention. One of the biggest musical highlights of FF47 was Japanese anime singer ASCA, who appeared for a mini live and stage event on Saturday.

ASCA is known for performing anime theme songs, including music connected with The Irregular at Magic High School. Her appearance gave the convention a concert-like atmosphere, with fans gathering around the stage to watch her performance. Her FF47 appearance was also officially announced by Sony Music, with the mini concert scheduled for August 22.

Tsukune Tsukiumi: Special Cosplay Guest

Another major Japanese guest was Tsukune Tsukiumi, a popular Japanese cosplayer, model, YouTuber, and creator. She appeared for a special mini-talk session on Sunday.

Sithle011: Nicole Demara from Zenless Zone Zero

Another major cosplay personality appearing at FF47 was Sithle011, who brought Nicole Demara from Zenless Zone Zero to the first day of the event.

Her FF47 appearance was documented by photographers and fans on social media, with reports specifically identifying her Day 1 cosplay as Nicole Demara.
